Inherited a house in foreclosure
Someone died. The house still has a loan. Payments stopped, or they were already behind. Now the servicer is sending notices in a name that is not yours yet. That is an inherited house in foreclosure — Fort Bend, Harris, and the rest of the metro.
The play is the same: sell the house while title can still move, or get money for the house if anything is left after the loan. Waiting for probate to “finish” while a first-Tuesday date is on the notice is how the house goes to auction and you get none of it.
We buy the house. We do not run probate. We do not appoint an executor. If you (or the estate) can convey title, we write a purchase. Cash if the payoff works. A short sale if the lender has to take less. We are the buyer, not your lawyer.
Bring the death, the loan, and any notice. Talk about selling the house. If the goal is to keep the house, that is not us.
We do not stop a foreclosure sale. We are the buyer, not your agent.
