Can I sell a house in foreclosure in Texas?
Yes — while you still own it. In Texas you keep title until the trustee sells it. A notice of sale does not move title by itself. The first Tuesday does.
After that sale, you are not the seller. The lender (REO) or a bidder is. We do not buy “from the bank” unless the bank already owns it. That is a different deal.
If the house is posted in Fort Bend, the window is the 21 days on the notice, not “whenever the servicer finishes review.” A short sale needs the lender to approve a payoff below the balance. That is slow. Cash is the only path that might still fit close to the date, and only if the payoff works.
We buy. We do not halt the sale. You got a notice of sale. Talk about selling while you still have title.
We do not stop a foreclosure sale. We are the buyer, not your agent.
