You got a letter from a foreclosure law firm
The envelope is from a law firm, not the bank logo you know. Barrett Daffin, Mackie Wolf, Bond & Botes, McCarthy Holthus, Hughes Watters — Texas foreclosure mills. The letter is a default, an acceleration, or a notice of substitute trustee sale. It is the same file. The firm is hired to post and sell the house.
Calling the law firm does not make us your lawyer. We do not halt their sale. We buy. If you still have title in Fort Bend or the Houston metro, a purchase can still close. Cash if the payoff works. A short sale if you owe more than it will sell for — and that is slow, so the date on the letter matters.
Bring the letter. Do not wait for a second one. Default or acceleration is earlier. Notice of sale is the 21-day clock. Talk about selling the house.
We do not stop a foreclosure sale. We do not represent you. If you want to keep the house, start with who to call for free help.
We do not stop a foreclosure sale. We are the buyer, not your agent.
